Cooking Instructions

THAWING - Thaw in the refrigerator overnight. To quick thaw, place tilapia (in its clear pouch) in cool water for 20-30 minutes. Use immediately upon quick thaw.

COOKING TIPS - For bolder flavor, pour all of the marinade in clear pouch over tilapia. Tilapia is a delicate fish; handle with care when cooking to avoid breaking apart. When fully cooked, tilapia is white and has a firm, flaky texture.

GRILL - Remove thawed tilapia from clear pouch. Place on a clean, medium-hot grill for 3-4 min. Turn tilapia over and grill an additional 3-4 min. Tip: place aluminum foil on grill rack and spray lightly with cooking oil to keep fish from sticking and breaking apart.

BAKE - Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Remove thawed tilapia from clear pouch and place in baking pan. Bake 12-17 min.

MICROWAVE - Remove thawed tilapia from clear pouch and place in microwave safe dish. Cover with plastic wrap, venting at corner. Heat 2-4 min. Rotate dish halfway through cooking time.
