California Transparency in Supply Chains Act Disclosure Statement

For the last 75 years, Morey’s Seafood International has been committed to delivering restaurant quality products to consumer’s tables with the highest of ethical standards at the forefront of how we do business. At Morey’s we respect the dignity of all. Our word is our bond. We believe in the development of our people and products.

We are a United States based corporation with all of our production employees in the United States. We also employ the use of US based brokerage firms to represent us in various markets. In both circumstances, we are committed to following all labor and human resources laws and requirements. Failure to comply with all regulations subjects violators to disciplinary action, including termination of employment or contract when warranted. In order to ensure strict compliance to all laws and requirements our production facilities are audited annually by a third party to verify our practices.

In establishing and maintaining our relationships with our supply chain partners, we expect the same commitment and dedication to high ethical standards and compliance with applicable laws, including those relating to human trafficking and slavery, that we have at Morey’s. We believe that our suppliers are reputable companies that comply with applicable laws, including those that prohibit human trafficking and slavery in the country or countries they do business in. We do not currently require certifications from our suppliers; however, we are in the process of developing a certificate process to ensure all of our suppliers are in full compliance with applicable laws and practices.
